I'm so proud to be a participant in this year's Dancing With the Stars Charlotte, and I hope to raise not only money, but also awareness for the great work Carolina Breast Friends is doing in our community!
I was admittedly a little reluctant (and terrified) to sign on to something so out of my comfort zone, but it didn't take much convincing once I learned of the incredibly important mission of CBF, and the one-on-one support they provide for women and men who are fighting breast cancer.
My involvement is particularly personal to me, as I lost my mother to cancer in 2011. Although she didn’t have breast cancer, I always say, "All Cancer Sucks." Every dollar I raise and every step I take on the dance floor will be in her memory and in honor of the countless individuals who are currently fighting their own battles with this disease.
Every donation you make through this page gets me closer to being this year's fundraising winner--but, more importantly, it supports the services Carolina Breast Friends provides for those with breast cancer in the greater Charlotte community. So, I'm very excited to participate in this years event! How much can we raise together?
Thank you in advance for your generosity! It matters.
